The Delaware Symphony has named Aaron Jay Kernis the recipient of its 2014 A.I. duPont Composer’s Award. Kernis will receive the award on April 1 during the orchestra’s season finale concert, where they’ll perform his work Musica Celestis at the Hotel du Pont.
