For its 20th-season, the Moab Music Festival continues its love of “music in concert with the landscape” by celebrating the town of Moab and the music in equal parts! This year, there’s a performance of a new version of a seldom-seen Leonard Bernstein opera Trouble in Tahiti, directed by his daughter Jamie Bernstein, a frequent Festival artist; the revival of Utah composer Gerald Elias’ Conversations With Essie (commissioned by Moab for its 10th anniversary); the Moab debut of celebrated artists The Marcus Roberts Trio and Bela Fleck; along with old classics, new classics, musical traditions of the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries, some international, some national, and more!
