Artistic and Executive Director Michael Boriskin shares, \u201cThese residencies have always embraced both emerging and established artists, and we\u2019re very pleased that this year\u2019s residents range widely from a well-known, much-performed figure&#8230;to young composers at the very beginnings of their careers&#8230;.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hailing from five States and the UK, the 2013-14 season&#8217;s residents include: Keith Fitch (Cleveland Heights, OH), Saad Haddad (Northridge, CA), Aaron Holloway-Nahum (London, UK), Tonia Ko (Ithaca, NY), Nicholas Omiccioli (Kansas City, MO), Kurt Rohde (San Francisco, CA), Christopher Theofanidis (New Haven, CT), and Dale Trumbore (Los Angeles, CA).<\/p>\n<p>An Official Project of the federal Save America&#8217;s Treasures program, Copland House is the only composer\u2019s home in the US devoted to nurturing and renewing America\u2019s rich musical heritage through a broad range of creative, educational, and performance programs.<\/p>\n<p>Read the <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.coplandhouse.org\/media\/release-awards-13.pdf\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">complete press release here<\/span><\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Copland House has announced the 2013 composer-participants in the Copland House Residency Awards.
