Marking Glenn Dicterow’s farewell from the orchestra following 34 years as Concertmaster, the New York Philharmonic released The Glenn Dicterow Collection, featuring Aaron Jay Kernis’ mournful Lament and Prayer, written “in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the end of World War II and the Holocaust,” among other favorite solo performances given by Mr. Dicterow from 1982 to 2012.
