Many of the works on this album borrow from popular culture. The disc includes his 100 Greatest Dance Hits for guitar and string quartet (a reflection of 70s and 90s popular styles); Before Sleep and Dreams and Superstar Etude #1 (both for solo piano); Air and Meditation (In Memory of John Lennon), both for cello and piano.
