Golden Motors Trailer

Still in development, Golden Motors is a Music-theater work with story and lyrics by Wendy S. Walters and music by Derek Bermel set in 1980's Detroit during the collapse of the American automobile industry. The story traces one family's challenges to reclaim what remains of their future; it is a uniquely American tale – of love and despair, violence and reconciliation, inaction and heroism – in an era of swiftly changing rules and expectations.
