Violinist\/composer Tim Fain and composer\/guitarist Giovanni Piacentini team up to present a new album, Adrift in the Garden of Beautiful Things<\/em>, released on Blind Bay Records. The recording includes two world premieres: Piacentini\u2019s Sonata, Adrift in the Garden of Beautiful Things,<\/em> and a new arrangement of Fain\u2019s work for violin and orchestra,\u00a0Resonance<\/em>, along with Rachmaninoff\u2019s <\/strong>Vocalise.\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>These two artists, and friends, celebrate the age-old tradition of the composer\/performer, following in the great pianist and composer Rachmaninov\u2019s footsteps, on the album.\u00a0<\/strong>They worked remotely to record and produce the music in late 2020 while sheltering in place in Western Montana and Los Angeles respectively.<\/strong><\/p>\n
