Copland House Receives National Endowment for the Arts Grant<\/u><\/strong><\/h3>\n$15,000 Award To Support Public Programming in Westchester<\/strong><\/h3>\n\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\nCortlandt Manor, NY \u2013 <\/em>National Endowment for the Arts Acting Chairwoman Mary Anne Carter announces today that Copland House, the award-winning creative center for American music based at Aaron Copland\u2019s National Historic Landmark home in Cortlandt Manor, will receive a $15,000 grant to support its public programming in Westchester County during the 2019-2020 season. The funding is awarded through Art Works, the Endowment\u2019s principal grantmaking program.<\/p>\n\u201cThese awards reach every corner of the United States, and are a testament to the artistic richness and diversity in our country,\u201d said Arts Endowment chairwoman Carter. \u201cOrganizations such as Copland House are giving people throughout Westchester County, metro New York, and the nation the opportunity to learn, create, and be inspired.\u201d The Arts Endowment has approved more than $80 million in grants this spring, as part of its second major funding announcement for fiscal year 2019.
