Dworkin & Company welcomes pioneering string quartet ETHEL to its roster of distinguished artists, ensembles, and arts institutions. Hailed for its \u201cheady mix of new and newer music intent on undermining expectations — in a thoroughly genial way,\u201d according to the San Francisco Chronicle<\/em>, it has brought \u201cvitality and brilliance [and] stylistic omnivorousness\u201d and musical innovation to the world\u2019s stage for over three decades. With over 500 premieres to its name, many of which were commissions, collaborative and multimedia productions are central to ETHEL\u2019s identity. A future-focused, trailblazing musical force, ETHEL was one of the first ensembles to embrace genres beyond classical, and redefine the concert experience, shattering preconceived boundaries across sound and style. It\u2019s thrilling performances and evocative storytelling adds luster to any concert series, and has brought the ensemble to stages including Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, the Sydney Opera House, Segerstrom Center for the Arts, Amsterdam\u2019s Concertgebouw, Ravinia Festival, Holland\u2019s TROMP, Venice Biennale, FIAC in Mexico and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
